CARE International: Gaza Humanitarian Crisis Appeal
CARE has worked in the West Bank and Gaza for over 70 years. Our incredibly dedicated team in Gaza is terrified for their own families' safety, but whenever it is safe to do so they are responding to the urgent needs of those affected by the conflict in Gaza and the region, with a particular focus on medical intervention and the needs of women and girls.

We protect and support children and young people. We do this by providing practical and emotional care and support. We make sure their voices are heard. And we campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
Intervention. Anyone can get trapped in poverty, abuse or violence. When we spot problems, we take action early. We step in to help children, young people and families before things get worse.
Prevention. We give young people the support they need to grow up safe and happy. Projects like The Blues Project teach important life skills and help to build resilience. It’s simple and it works.
Advocacy. Children don’t have a say in many things that affect their lives. We listen to what they want. We take their concerns to the government. And we campaign for better support and resources.
Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary is a rescue centre based in South Yorkshire on two different sites. Founded in 1988, we have since rescued thousands of Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Equines and some other larger species at our farm at Ravenfield, whilst all other animals are at Todwick Road, Dinnington. We take animals that through no fault of their own need a new home. We assess them and deal with any medical or behavioural issues they may have, then try to match them to their perfect forever home.
